One of the guys with us (an AA Patrol man) suggested that the mayo was purely condensation from standing. It's now only doing about 1300 miles annually. (Half in France and half in Snowdonia, it's not used as a daily at all) I've used Forza a lot in the past but found them hit and miss. Ideally if ...

I am careful to describe it as a warp but it is likely to have been caused by hot pads and sitting on the brake pedal, allowing a heat soak to distort the metal in the disc where the pads are in contact. never would have thought that. how long would you need to keep the brake pedal depressed for th...

Perfect, Ali! The tyre mount stickers are NLA from ALPINA (I was told this last month whilst trying to obtain before my refurb). This gets me a set: lovely! *Edit*: upon checking, these aren't the labels I'm seeking. Maybe I need to arrange copies of the required labels. Ade, this thread may help? ...

I'm surprised that a warped disc can be skimmed flat again. I was always under the impression that if they warped then they were bin fodder? I am careful to describe it as a warp but it is likely to have been caused by hot pads and sitting on the brake pedal, allowing a heat soak to distort the met...

Don't bother with draught excluder etc as it isn't UV stable and will crumble in weeks. Get genuine from Sytner, and be sitting down when they give you the price. I've outlined this in another post having recently purchased a set. Just over £30.I can supply part number later if you need it.

Why not treat yourself to a trip to Pembrokeshire and take a peek at this? At least if the car's crap you can treat yourself to some time in Saundersfoot or Tenby! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-60-BMW-ALPINA-D3-Bi-TURBO-211BHP-AUTO-STUNNING-CONDITION-LOW-MILEAGE/183446169200?hash=item2ab63e6670:g:...

434 would be one for me for exterior and leather A good choice, but the dealer isn't helping themselves by advertising it as a B3. For me, it would be Ade's favourite, E91 #284. The only way it would be better is if it was Montego. I like #434, but having owned a saloon, coupe and touring E9x, the ...

arr ok i see ,,, so did the buttons on the front side of steering wheel not change gear if it was a manual ? Only Switch-tronic (auto) had the steering wheel buttons to change gears. The buttons on the thumb-pads here are controls for the lap-timer/g-meter/temp etc in the lcd display I believe. The...

*ahem* Looks like a nice car with a very honest description. Probably over my budget for a private car, given what else is available. In my honest opinion, he's asking a bit too much, but it's a forum members' car and therefore probably better than most in the meat market. It's also an uber rare lu...
