Another B5 in Leicester? - FJ55 ***

Who's got the other B5 in Leicester! - saw last night around 2.30 - 3.00 travelling from Blaby down the A426. FJ55 ***. Only a brief flash I'm afraid - I think it was black.

Totally agree. Although I live in Leicester, have always taken previous BMWs and current Alpina to Coventry - they seem to appreciate the cars and have excellent customer service - not just lip service.

The B5 had 185 on the ‘head up’ before hitting the anchors short of the timing equipment which was pretty impressive but ‘by ek’ stopping that amount of car with two large blokes in it was more and act of faith than driving ability. Glad you got to 185 mph - that is exactly the speed I got ...

Rear Tyres

As per my post in Donnington Track meet, I have to buy two new rear tyres for my B5. 275/35 19" Heavy load. Currently Mitchelin Sport SP2. Best figures seem to be around £280 - £300 each. However came accross a web site - Top Tread Ltd for only £250 or thereabouts. Has anybody had dealings with t...

Hi there guys. Booked my place on the Track day. A little dilema with tyres. I have about 1 - 1.5mm left on the tyres before they are the legal limit. Initial pricing enquiries suggest around £300 for each rear tyre. Ouch!! Bearing this in mind I don't want to put on a brand new set of rear tyres a...

article from "Homes and Garden"....... Hoover have now diversified into a range of automotive gardening attachments. This attachment is for the autumn to suck up all those unwanted leaves! Local councils are also thinking of possibly exchanging their pedestrians street cleaners for this new product

I had a 535d before going for my B5. I tend to get 22 mpg usual or 18 mpg if I really have alot of fun! This is obviously alot poorer than the diesel, but heck, its tons more fun. Having said all this, having recently been to the factory and seen, first hand, the care and attention that goes into an...
