As I understand it (could be wrong) The security module is pre-coded with ten keys. If a key is lost they block that one and issue the next one on the list. If you run out of key code you need a new module. So if they read off one of the ten codes... Will it always be the code for one of your keys ...

The sort of things I would include were LED rear lights, clear lenses not smoked sounds like a lot of money (when using the quality genuine BMW parts) for not much gain iPod compatability go for it, loads of ways to do it.
