I've used a solar "charger" for years. Charger in parenthesis because MY unit doesn't actually charge the battery, but simply MAINTAINS it to the correct level. Currently my battery is in the flat with the solar panels (it folds to 1/2 laptop size when not in use) facing a window and connected full ...

Well, after searching more sites than I care to remember I'm beginning to think die cast Alpina models are even more rare than the marque itself. I actually had exactly what I wanted but managed to completely stuff the bidding and lost it. It went for 1/4 of what I was prepared to pay and appeared t...

On such a quality car, that sticker looks a bit, not sure how to put this ... "cheap"?! I agree too. When I bought the B10 (back in '95) the gear knob just had the resin/plastic moulded gate diagram so I bought the correct Alpina knob during a factory visit and removed the diagram from the old knob...

unless you can find a metal model of the e39 (or e34) then it'll be a bespoke plastic model style kit (or vacform style but more specialised) that you'll need to build. If you can build these the Fujimi one Pukar directed you to is a good kit, the results are good, but its all down to your build sk...

Bri-E it's in the same place, but more difficult to access. Remove boot floor tray (the one with the flip up handle) Then there are two half turn plastic locators on the bottom of the right hand side trim panel - turn them half turn to release The trim panel comes out from the bottom inwards Hey pr...

Hahaha, OK Charles, I was a bit out as I thought it was about 234+….but then which phase? Anyway Your car is doing well, I think an engine rebuild in that? I'm still looking around, mostly Germany and watching a couple B10 V8's. I've a couple lookers in Oz for mine but nothing concrete. Was hoping...

Only the once in Oz when at the bowser, a scrubby looking bloke in very dirty overalls & in a little old run-down looking Morris Minor finished filling & walked completely around the B10 and went off to pay without a word. I met him coming out after paying for his fuel…we spent 30 minutes looking ...

Ahhh, Pukar, you could be the bloke I'm looking for! But a bit off topic here... I've wanted an E39 B10 Alpina 1/18 die cast model but all I can find are E39's. Have considered getting one & tackle stripes & badges by reducing pics of actual sizes. So just wondering what you can offer? Only problem ...
