I would image that the majority of B8 production would have been for the US market, therefore no unique chassis number, hard to pin them down

I don't know who you are insured with Ashok, but I have been with LV for ever, this years premium for my B3S BT Cab was £30 more than last year.

I also obtained a quote from them for a M6 GC I was thinking of buying, came in at a very reasonable £620.

My old F10 B5 BT is up for sale again at SCC Leeds. Just sold on Collecting cars for approx £22K, now up at £33K :shock: Wrong service details, should read serviced at Sytner Nottingham May 2015, not 2019, no service done for 4 years :doh At that price they are going to have it a long long time :D

As far as I am concerned the only downside is the Hard top, mine was a real pain.

You need space to store it, and need two people with very strong backs to get it on and off

I think the OP is looking for a later model without the supercharger. All B7s from 2010 onwards will be Bi Turbo, the same as the B5. You really need someone who has had a B5 to get an idea of any problems. As far as I know there are only a couple of B7 BTs in the UK, plus the "New" Green one which ...
