Grand Tour

Sorry if previously posted, but I recently got Amazon Prime and catching up on the Grand Tour (realising probably aired a long time ago!). Season 2 Espisode 3 I think - they do a piece about office lunchtimes - they set up a racetrack in a commercial estate and have two resident companies race each ...

Thanks all. Leather is Nappa.

Will do a ring round some of these suggestions after the BH weekend.

Cheers

Re: Leather

Interesting to see others using various soaps for cleaning leather. Personally I've only used Gliptone leather cleaner and found it is excellent. On that drivers bolster you might find those creases will improve but not go away after cleaning. If that bothers you then you can either: * Have the bol...

Re: New B8

There's an easy top up of £1500 or so (maths not my strong point) for opting for the 23" wheels....

23" wheels... :think

Leather

Hi Any recommendations on process and products to improve the Nappa leather seat bolsters in my new (used) Volvo please? I seem to recall Gliptone leather cleaner getting some recommendations on here - would that be all I need? And is there a specific one? The top pic (1079) is of the driver's seat ...

Re: E90 D3 BiTurbo #132

There's a white E90 D3 for sale across the road from me. The advert is not on their website... https://www.cambridgemotorcompany.com/ I think this is the car in question that had the accident: https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/11281562 Ah yes - that's the place. I couldn't remember the reg fr...

Re: E90 D3 BiTurbo #132

Anything in white really 🤣🤣🤣 got to be a manual really and 8-9 k max 🥰 White will limit you quite a lot, there was only one D3 MT made in White (special order) or that only leaves BT's. These are the others I have seen recently. Nothing currently sub-£9k on the petrol side either. D3 BITURBO [E90 L...

Re: 8 series B12 5.0 #9370 silver auction

I read an article a while back that Coys went bust, and former owners apparently undertook some rather dodgy practices... I'll see if I can find it.

Yes, it was me who posted a wanted ad. Now deleted as I've put a deposit on an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio instead. Sod's law that as soon as I commit to another car, a B3 appears...
True...BUT - a Quadrifoglio!!! :dance Please share your experiences!

Re: Bit of a scare with B3 3.3 Touring #108

That could have been very nasty, lucky it turned out well in the end! I was looking to fit one of the OEM fire extinguishers in the E39 but tbh they are big, heavy and outdated when I came across the https://firesafetystick.com/ - seems to be a big improvement on the old style extinguishers as it's...
