Re: New b3s touring luton airport
Lovely!
Defo a B5 as Sal says.
With that plate, a shame the owner didn't go with Gold decals. Would look lovely on the Alp Green paint.

Re: D5 #250 has arrived!
Old Trafford Friday was a brilliant day - shame about the weather today - non stop rain in the north so a frustrating draw… Tyres….had yet another puncture fixed a couple of weeks ago but was told minimal wear which is good (I no longer feel competent or capable of checking my own 😂 ) but indicativ...

Re: G21 B3 Pirelli ALP Tyres
Had the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S PS4S on for three months now and all is good. A mixed bag of weather which is good and all has been positive. The other big one for me is how long they will last. The ALP Pirelli lasted 12/13k each so on a third set of tyres at the 25,000 mile mark. Driving style is ...

Re: G21 B3 Pirelli ALP Tyres
Interesting observation Asif. I’ve always had my P.Zero from the Pirelli Performance Centre in Burton on Trent. (Next to the factory) Last time they had no stock, so I ended up at Kwik Fit of all places. Long story short, although they are Alp marked they might as well be a different brand. Noisy, ...

Re: G21 B3 Pirelli ALP Tyres
I'd echo what big blue has said, the Michelins on my car (G31 B5) feel good, but we've not much rain of late to feel the difference there. I found the Pirellis poor in the wet. Just following up now we've had plenty of rain - the car is transformed in the wet vs ALP marked Pirellis. Previous I expe...

Re: D5 #250 has arrived!
Happy birthday!
Hope you enjoyed the day at OT, what a match this is turning out to be (Ashes has been brilliant so far!)
How are you getting on with the tyres now?

Re: B5 touring #525
Nice car this, used to chat occasionally with the previous owner via the FB group. Pretty much the twin of mine, but with the later iDrive 7, larger screen and new style dash clocks. Spec is v good, I think the only options missing are the surround cameras (which are handy on a car this size) and le...

You missed yours! Good to see you James (and the other familiar faces, and new ones)
That V8 S pictured sounds crazy loud these days.

Re: Steering wheel damage
The leather on these wheels is very delicate, suspect the industrial wipes have made light work of taking off the finish. Recovering an Alpina st wheel is tricky due to the horizontal stitch, v few people can replicate it properly. Royal can't do it, so if you can live with a cross stitch, that's on...

Lovely car OP. What colour is that? Dravit?
On power, remember the current batches of forced induction M cars are producing more than stock quoted figures too...

I'd echo what big blue has said, the Michelins on my car (G31 B5) feel good, but we've not much rain of late to feel the difference there. I found the Pirellis poor in the wet. They're quiet and comfortable, maybe a very slightly firmer ride, but this is with them pumped up to Alpina recommended tyr...
