A beautiful car Brian, a credit to you and former keepers, I'm sure you won't have trouble selling it.

Sounds mighty impressive. Being the diesel I bet it's pretty good on fuel too. I remember watching Chris Harris video trialling the B3 and feeling it was perhaps the ideal "all purpose" car for me, if I had the funds. 400 bhp, 600 nm and a claimed 37mpg combined. Engine undertray - B10 V8

Hi all

In case anyone has one kicking around, require an engine undertray for a B10 V8 - must be from a V8 please, the 3.3 version is different.

They are the same as the one found on the E39 V8 SE too I'm told...

Thanks

This was for sale a little over a year ago for £9,500. It had 37k on it then. It was then very recently advertised for, I think £13.5k. Now down to 11.5k. It does look really nice, though I'm not sure about the light brown dashboard material - just a pet hate of mine. Yes, I remember it for sale ...

A question - the car has a vibration (I feel it through the chassis/bulkhead), almost exactly at 70mph. Nothing at 60, nothing at 80, very little at 65 & 75.

Is this the infamous E39 shimmy??

I guess this will need investigating, starting with wheel balance/buckles > suspension arms/bushes?

Was it the black one with cream interior with b10 yob plate If so nice motor!! BINGO! Thanks hap! Not perfect by any means, but an unbelievable service history file and pretty much one owner from new. A loved car. As I said in my first post, the danger now is my OCD will mean this car becomes an ex...

I have ordered some bits and pieces from Cotswold BMW over the years and they have always given me 10% off. I presume they are not the only folk that do, but for me the service has always been first class. Seconded, a good parts team and great service. Just ordered a new driver's carpet mat for my ...

So after much deliberation and careful consideration I decided to buy the car, a B10 V8S. Collected it yesterday evening - what a car!! :D

The car's not on the register - so will submit the details to get it on here.

Where should I start a thread about the car? General Alpina Forum?

Newbie intro and advice from B10 V8 knowledgeable folk pls!

Evening all Thought I'd sign up to this site for admirers of all things Alpina and introduce myself. I'm based in Berkshire and have had a long line of what I would class as interesting/classic German cars over the years. I've always had an E39 "itch" and also wanted a V8 having never owned one. I'v...
