A Biturbo has a small turbo which spins up quickly and a larger one that provides the boost. With the single turbo D3 there isn't a lot you can do about it. However, I wouldn't worry about it personally, you will still love the car. Joe this isnt correct. the biturbo has two turbos of the same size...

Ok the B3 now has a 335i engine that is remapped and pistons but basically the same. The new B7 has the 4.4v8 turbo BMW engine which is the same as the 750i with probbably remap and pistons What is going to happen to the next B5???? at the moment the M5 has a V10, the B5 a supercharged V8 similar pe...

apparently he can now get 30mpg on a fast run and this was impossible before the remap.
