Wheel wobble

Hooray! New caliper and pads fitted,and I can now steer and brake in a straight line.
All work carried out by Medway BM Centre. First class service.

Hello again MCB. I've done some more spirited driving and so far all is well.So crossing my fingers and anything else ,I'll wait and see what transpires.

Charles.But wouldn't it be wobbling all the time if the mounts were suspect?
It only occurs whilst braking really hard ,and disappears after slowing to a crawl.

Hello MCB. Yes I tried hard braking. The vibration is felt through the steering wheel and the car body at the same time as I'm applying the brakes quite hard.But not today.I dont have a clue. I read both articles ,very interesting but nothing new.Thanks anyway.

Strange!.
W ent for another spin today.Mixed driving,some town traffic ,some fast dual carraigeways,some country lanes.No wobble at all.
What is wrong with my B3 coupe?

Still rather perplexed.Went for a slow drive this morning. Everything OK drove slowly ,braked gently ,perfect. Changed tactics ,increased speed, every thing OK until hard braking.Wheel wobble as I slowed down , which disappeared when I slowed down to walking pace. Have booked it in to Medway BM cent...

Thanks ,but one more question.
If the disc is warped and/or the caliper is sticking,wouldn't the wobbling stop when I take my foot off the brake pedal?

Sticking brake caliper. Don't think so.I can feel the steering wheel vibrating as I start slowing down.
Tyres flat spotted?? Blimey Brian ,I'm not that sort of driver.
After negotiating the roundabout and just going slowly I can feel the wobble decreasing.
