THIS or similar. Pushes into the jacking slot and protects it from damage. However, most garages won't take this care, so they tend to get damaged anyway whatever care you take.

Thanks Ade. I'll make some enquiries. I'm in no rush as it as soon as it's back from France this weekend it will be sorned until the April trip to Snowdonia I'm now running 5W40 which dramatically improved consumption, otherwise I'd have been sub 800/900 miles/litre, but there's also a slight milky...

I think the criticism of Sytner a bit harsh - they need to make money like all of us - and they keep the alpha pipeline going for all of us down the line. I guess that was a typo, as that pipeline would be messy! You haven't been dealing with them as long as some of us :lol: They're under-offering ...

Sorry I missed that. It was around the number plate lights and surface corrosion under the number plate. They accepted the claim immediately as the inspector said the paint was actually too thin, and is borderline on the whole car! (I am still contemplating that one) If you could send me something,...

I did ask on your other posts where the corrosion was located? Mine has also had a recent tailgate through corrosion, and there is a thread running on it. Be good to pool knowledge.
