Good stuff, which ones did you order? http://theALPINAregister.com/forums/userpix/26384_20308059719_fcb65af71a_b_zpsffjslsxe_1.jpg Not mine: image you linked to. :) Note to all: These are the labels which are no longer available from ALPINA, so PUKAR are the only source if these are required by oth...

New labels arrived from Pukar today and are almost identical to original. Being on vinyl rather than self adhesive aluminium foil makes them easier to align and fit. The foil ones were a Swear to get on without rippling/tearing etc. £14.20 for set of 4 delivered: iirc about half the price of the or...

Re: Buying a D3 in Germany

I wonder if I can get some input from owners on whether a D3 Allroad 2015-16 (planning to import one from Germany to Switzerland) can be serviced at a local BMW garage and if the 10 year BMW service/maintenance plan applies to Alpina. Currently, I own a 2015 A45 AMG but I am getting tired of the al...

......my test drive showed me the a B4 is quick enough. I think if it didn't have a LSD I might not have made the purchase. Erm, quick enough: yes. Anything sub-5s to 100kph is 'quick enough' imo. Something rarely used in either of mine, but I find it fun when overtaking. Lack of LSD could have bee...

They didn't break it down into different part numbers though. That's odd: I purchased a front kit for my B3S after a bumper refinish and got the parts I wanted as separate part numbers! Perhaps as a full kit, they supply a job lot of part numbers as one overall item. If so, I'd reckon it includes t...

Sytner sell each part of the kit seperately eg a left hand splitter stripe, and a right hand: 2 part numbers. The Alpina lettering is supplied on another part number.

Your ECM limits revs when the DPF is partially blocked. Its not regenerating because its inhibited by a fault. As ade says could be glowplugs or glow plug relay or even EGR issues. Ive just fit a new EGR pressure switch installed as it wasnt regenerating, This is all after having has new plugs, rel...

Just a guess, but the d5s is AWD, so I suspect a likely packaging reasoning behind this as BMW have long had an issue with the steering column on the 'wrong side' screwing with turbocharger arrangements. I noted this on a review, which may go along with above thoughts:- 'With 322bhp, this massaged s...

Get a set of fault codes run. Joe mentions glow plugs and egr thermostats; they're hellish important to the clean running of the M47 lump and there are no on-dash indications of failures of either. It's a poor setup

Another thumbs up here for the Birds Quaife diff. Ridiculous it wasn't standard on a 400hp, 550Nm rwd car. Transformational.
