Out of interest why are you switching to a stainless pipe?
The MOT did change a few years back meaning it will fail with a straight pipe on the car. It MUST have the DPF fitted, even if the insides have been removed. This is now part of the MOT test.
Just in case you are unaware??

Out of interest what does it state in your service manual for the D3??
Mine is an 08 D3 Bi Turbo and i thought it took 0W30 but looking in the hand book it states 10W60. (So that is what I will use)
