Don't worry, you didn't miss much. The camera work was very poor, and after you deduct time for the adverts you get about 10 mins from each one hour race. They tended to cover the front 3-4 cars as well, which, for now, means that the Alpina was only in a few shots. However by the end of the season ...

Thanks again Neil for organising. Think I am getting the kick plate (that is unless someone messes with the controls on purpose!!) - but drifting - forget it! Instructors made me feel a little better - "clearly the car is so well balanced and stable it resists all attempts to upset it." I think in r...

Hi there, I have had a road pilot installed in my B5 by a local company, they usually deal with Ferrari, Maserati, Astons etc, so are used to dealing with "special" cars. It was a very neat job. They also installed neatly a number of other items - a camera which sits on the front to make sure I don'...

Prices seem way over the top! My warranty for the B5 was about £850 for the year in October. However like others in this thread I think I will give it a miss this year as I am keeping the miles down and only using the car if the weather is good.....so far about 100 miles since October 2008! Put the...

Upgrade to lights (but not an Alpina!!)
Excuse me for using this form but unfortunately I did not receive a single reply to this issue when I raised it on X5 World! Hopefully you guys may be able to help. Purchased an X5 (E53) for my wife earlier this year (tried to persuade her to go for a B3 cabriolet but no joy!!) however the main head...

Winter lay-up
Due to a number of "other" available vehicles I am only now using the B5 for "play-time" and when it is generally dry. As a result I don't think I have actually used the car since the beginning of October!! Does anyone have any advice for things that I should be doing over the winter if the car does...
