Sat Nav Upgrade and Discs for B5/B6

OK I've had the car 24 hours, now I've got to get everything sorted out to get this car 100% up to date. Car home in garage! Brief scare at DVLA when I went to put on my private plate.....but everything is in order. Only one thing, a little disappointed in the condition of the leather on the drivers side - quite dirty and one bit scuffed- any ideas?

Thanks for the advice guys. It is a B6 - Number 37. met with the owner and seen the vehicle. Exactly as advertised. After agreeing deal in principle and exchanging emails did a quick background check on the seller.......lets just say governments probably listen to this guy!! - I am amazed that he to...

B6 Convertible

Off to look at one of these tomorrow afternoon. Very little detail on the advert so don't even know which build number! Meeting the owner at Hilton Hotel in London area. A bit concerned we are meeting away from a home address - although I get the feeling the vehicle is based in central london so its...

NEW CAR CONFIRMED - ALPINA MINI

I have finally taken the plunge and have decided to change my B5 for a new B6 convertible. I was in Germany last week and met with Chris to go through all the details and specification. Whilst I was there I had the opportunity to have a brief discussion with Andy, he confirmed that alpina are going ...

Only ignorant people would make such a fundamental mistake! Clearly the same people write LV on the side of their shoes and handbags and we are all fooled thinking it is Louis Vuitton!!

Not received any reply yet, perhaps the email was too groverly and over use of english vocabulary, they are afterall an Austrian/Cz outfit. Maybe try a more subtle email..........."free passes yah???"

S Berg Racing

Just sent an email off to S- Berg racing to see what their plans are. Suggested they may like to make contact with thealpinaregister.com and perhaps organise some grid walk passes for those who might go and support them at Silverstone!!! Lets see what happens......

Now difficult question - is it still worth travelling around Europe to see how the new team does. It is not quite the same as Alpina running a works car... Also notice that there is another team running a couple of Z4's - an interesting comparison
