Car arrived at last......eight months waiting! A covered delivery truck would have been better as delivered dirty in pouring rain, but that is mainly my fault as I really wanted to pick it up at Sytner but just did not have the time in the end so I opted for delivery! Too late to specify a covered t...

Just because 'Simon' is mentioned on a forum and is NOT officially backed by Alpina or Sytner's it does not mean you dismiss him. Hi Mac, has anyone said they would dismiss him? For me it can be the dealer or an independant as long as it gets done right and a recommendation is a good measure. Maybe...

Just because 'Simon' is mentioned on a forum and is NOT officially backed by Alpina or Sytner's it does not mean you dismiss him. He takes hours to fit a set of decals......if cost is no problem then he IS the guy you want for a top notch job. At the Nottingham meet he pointed things out to me (not ...

New D3 on now!!! Dream dream dream :D I may be wrong but I think these prices & options will change for UK market! When the XD3 was launched this was the case and if you scroll to the very bottom of the pdf brochure there is a small disclaimer stating that it refers in parts to the German Market an...

thanks.. the three way split seat is an option.. I'll probably go for it having seen it on the demonstrator Hi Ashok, I am not sure you quite understand my point! Although the configurator states 60/40 it is actually 40/20/40! No choice here! Nothing to select.......only one on offer is 40/20/40 I ...

Hi GuyW,

I spec'd the Alcantara! It looked a little different.

I thought it took it away from the standard X3 look, you can have the other trims in either car but you cannot get the Alcantara in the X3.
Hence my choice.

Just spotted this! http://www.motorward.com/2013/08/diesel-powered-alpina-d3-set-for-frankfurt-debut/ Plus this! (if translation works!)......which it didn't! If you go to the top you can ask it to traslate from Greek to English. http://www.newsbeast.gr/car/arthro/571005/h-bmw-alpina-d3-bi-turbo-sti...
