Hi Joe,

So glad you managed to sell the D3!

Did you P/x or sell privately?

I am sure you will still keep an eye on what's happening here!

Cheers for your help whilst on here in the past.

Good luck with the family expansion!........you need to go and have a minor incision soon though :-o

I think I saw a comparison somewhere, I think it was Auto Express, the lap time of the GTI (with performance pack) was quicker round a track than the R32......if my memory is correct.

Thinking about it, my stop/start packed in a while back!!. Could that be connected to a potential battery issue maybe?. Also is it because it's 'start/stop' technology, that the battery would need re-programming to the car?. Paul First question.....more than likely, the management system monitors a...

Re: D3 Battery dying?

Evening guys, 6 days ago I noticed my clock in the D3 was 2 mins slow…didn't think anything of it. The next day it was 4 mins slow. It's now at 14 mins behind?! When I went to get out of the car earlier, the warning triangle light came on along with the time icon. I reset the time. Then the Yello...

TBH....I thought PistonHeads review was worse!! From the text in that I got the distinct impression that PH looked at it and said 'I am not driving that' then gave a totally sh1t review. If you look @ the video review Neil did he stated it was a 'Marmite Car', the reviewer from the magazine obviousl...

Have I completely misinterpreted your question or have I understood it correctly? Err! Not quite. I always knew you could get parts and have your car serviced at any BMW dealer but I have never seen 'Alpina' mentioned under a specific listing on any dealer's website before. Maybe it is just me bein...

I Have Never Noticed This Before!!

If you go on your local BMW Dealer's web site.....on the home page towards the RHS, second row down they have listed 'ALPINA' on one of the headings! It just states you can buy 'ALPINA' Accessories and their parts department will happily advise etc. etc. Has this been the case for a while or has it ...

Merry Christmas to everyone here. Drive carefully and enjoy your cars. Spare a thought for the cyclists on the roads who are so vulnerable and sometimes stupid. A club mate of mine was tragically killed on the A444 yesterday lunchtime whilst out riding his bike. He was 72 years old and very very ex...

I had this on my D3 Bi-Turbo......New rear screen cured the problem....luckily it was still under warranty.
Dealer told me it was common.
