I think BMW have moved the 335i down to a single scroll turbo to allow all
future M cars to have 'twin turbo' technology, so to differentiate the brand.

Ive noticed that the new 1 series M is twin turbo, as are the x5mx6m and upcoming m5

One things for sure.. Alpina don't seem to be able to make reliable superchargers! Hope it gets fixed swiftly - I wonder if they've tweaked the SC again since your one? Rich ALPINA dont make the supercharger, ASA makes them and in general they are reliable, i think Duncan cant drive properly :lol:
