Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Drove my B10 into my local Shell petrol station and was surprised to see the V-Power pump was now labelled Super Unleaded. I thought that's strange, I thought it was a strong brand, why would they ditch it? Then it dawned on me, it was no longer a Shell garage and was now an Esso one.
So I went ...

Re: Losing faith.
These E9X cars are getting on a bit now and do need a slush fund for a bit of attention to keep them in fine fettle. What you tend to find is a lot of these cars are now used as second/weekend toys rather than a daily driver, so seals, gaskets and rubbers start to dry out and go brittle through lack ...

Re: Nottingham 60th ALPINA Event - Sytner: 17th August 25
Had a great day today, admiring all the cars and chatting to owners! Would love to know where to get the green t-shirts and the 60th window stickers too!

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Spent another £1000 on B3 BiTurbo 063 to replace the low pressure fuel sensor and oil filter housing gasket today. That’s pretty much £1000 per month of ownership (only had it five months!), and it still needs top mounts and shocks on the front before the next MOT! As the Germans would say ...

Re: ''DECO STRIPE KITS''
Just exploring options for having stripes made up and applied to my car. Short of ordering a genuine set from Alpina and having a local body shop apply them, are there any other less costly options around the South Wales/South West area?

Congrats! Welcome to the club!
I have a feeling the one on Collecting Cars didn't "sell" as I can't see the dealer accepting a near £8k loss compared to what they have had it advertised at.

Are you referring to the E46 B3 3.3 in Dakar Yellow that was recently posted on the Facebook page with this poll?

Re: F30/F31 D3 Wanted
The Alpina Blue one on collecting cars is on its third or forth dealer. I went to view it back last year when it was with a dealer here in the south west but they wouldn’t take my VW Transporter as part exchange. Interestingly it’s had a price hike of nearly £5k since I looked at it too!

Only issue with the ones of eBay is they don’t appear to come with the stripes that go on the chin spoiler.

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Today in my Alpina I broke down! I've had the car back from the garage for a little under a week and whilst pulling away from a round about I had an EML pop up on the dash and it went into limp home. Pulled over into the first lay-by I came across and could hear the cooling fan spinning like the ...

Re: B3 BiTurbo Replacement Shocks
The Alpina shocks are spécific. If you install 335i standard shocks the ride will be different, certainly a less confortable car in eco mode and less sporty in sport mode.
For me i would buy Alpina's oem shocks.
Sorry I should have been a bit clearer, my B3 is an E93 with standard gas filled ...

It's just more of an OEM plus spec of shock, and a more modern shocktiger wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 8:07 am Why? Keep it genuine. It's easier than it used to be - other Alpinas have shocks which are NLA

B3 BiTurbo Replacement Shocks
Evening all,
So it seems that I'm going to need a new pair of shocks and top mounts soon/ Both shocks are showing signs of misting and both top mounts have started to split. I can see form the parts catalogue that the shocks are standard 335i but the top mounts are Aplina specific. So my question is ...
