Re: E91 B3S Touring #127 - For Sale
Unfortunately not the same guy. It was bought it from a BMW specialist here in North Wales- DMW in Shotton/Queensferry area. Darren (owner of DMW) owned it for a few years and sold it to the guy I know a couple of years back. Unsure if Darren bought it from original owner. It's still in lovely condi...

Re: E91 B3S Touring #127 - For Sale
Sorry Bob my mistake, its number 002. First one in the UK and used by Sytner as their press car. Coincidentally my E91 MT was also Sytner's press car and the first tourer in the UK

Re: E91 B3S Touring #127 - For Sale
It has indeed been sold! The new owner doesn't use the forum at all however also own's an E90 D3 BT. Its actually number 001. I'll ask next time I see him (he's lives next door to my parents) if he plans on joining the forum but not sure if its his thing or not. I'll also try to get a pic of both of...

Re: D3 BiTurbo Touring #53 - Alpina Blue
Another bit of Trophy appreciation here I owned #117 and #083 between 2011 and 2014. Insanely capable cars on a twisty B road. Always wanted another but prices are getting silly now.hooneybadger wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 11:45 pmGLWTS looks a nice car, also big love for that Clio Trophy
GLWTS of the D3, looks lovely

Re: Finally in an E91 D3 :)
Thanks mate! Yeah for sure worth the wait. I was after a BT tourer originally but went to see a couple during the search and neither of them were a perfect fit for various reasons. Also went to see a BT saloon when tourers just weren't coming up for sale but decided it was a bit too small for me (sm...

Re: Finally in an E91 D3 :)
Yup, they're knackered. I spoke to a nice chap in Sytner Nottingham earlier who gave me all the info really quickly and easily, they also said any BMW can get them in and it will be free shipping etc.. spoke to Haliwell Jones Chester straight after who said they'd call me back. Didn't happen  ...

Finally in an E91 D3 :)
After searching for what felt like an eternity, I am finally in an E91 D3! Found #061 in the ‘Alpina’s for sale’ section a couple of weeks back, so thanks for the heads up on this one Hap! It was incorrectly listed on PH so hadn't spotted it! Wasn't too far from me either, just over an hour’s drive....

Re: E90 D3 Biturbo #412
Thanks for reply! Yes could well be, read a few comments on various forums saying similar things but also read horror stories of module being knackered. Could end up being an expensive fix

Re: E90 D3 Biturbo #412
It has a recurring traction control light issue hence the reduction in price. No reduction in power and tends to happen when its raining/wet weather. Any ideas? Abs sensor?

Re: Wanted!! E91 D3
Sorry hap just realised you replied! I have been to see that one but ruled it out due to corrosion on the rear arches, slightly floaty steering and lack of history. Thanks though!

Hello probably seen this one slightly up on miles but nothing drastic https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255422271392?hash=item3b785a8fa0:g:I2QAAOSw-EZiKelT I’ve been to see this one.. it’s quite rough and doesn’t have a lot of history. Hardly any receipts and just had £1300 spent to get it through an MOT....

Wanted!! E91 D3
Evening all 😊 Fancied a D3 for a while now but I’ve decided it’s definitely time. I’m in North Wales- not far from Chester so the closer to me the better really but all considered. If it was the perfect spec and history I’d be willing to travel. • Must be an E91 • Prefer a manual really but both con...
