Re: Lovely B5 biturbo alpina blue

This is up for sale again, now via CC...interestingly according to the service booklet it hasn't gone the 5 years that was previously thought it hadn't been serviced for, but then the CC listing itself does indicate it has gone 5 years without a service. Confusing much? :eh https://collectingcars.co...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Took the B3S to Duke of London for the Behind the Glass live podcast...strictly speaking, it was yesterday morning but I didn't get around to posting. Couldn't help but include a photo of the incredibly good-looking 530 MLE that was featured in one of Sam's recent videos on his Seenthroughglass chan...

Re: E46 B3 S CABRIO #233

it's not as if I could go see another 43k mile techno violet down the road. Wow, you're lucky to have landed such a low-milage example mate! Very nice Cant beat the champagne interior. Had ours for 15 years including 2 kids growing up. Its being the good ladies daily driver all the way through (alt...

Re: Best independent servicing

I think it's because the stamps will now be out of chronological order. Spot on Looking at my old E65 B7 and E39 booklet the stamps are not dated, the date is hand written? Yeah, the dates are handwritten, but the order of services will no longer be in chronological order when I get the others adde...

Re: Best independent servicing

I've just had my E46 B3S that I bought last month in for an Inspection 2 service and pressure test at Birds BMW in Iver. They did a good enough job and Kevin seemed knowledgeable as mentioned on here, but I was left a bit disappointed and frustrated when picking up the car today. On drop-off, I spec...

Re: E46 B3 S CABRIO #233

Congrats on the purchase. She is a lovely spec. Thanks, Fast3000 and sorry for the late reply. Been a busy month, so haven't been on here since picking it up last month. Also, as you correctly spotted, it was running a set of shi*tty Runlong tyres, so they were replaced almost immediately! Si...

Congratulations, hope you are delighted once it arrives. That interior does looks epic! 8)
Thanks CaesarBob, it certainly does! With the constant standstill traffic in London, a solid interior was high up on the list for me.

Re: E46 B3 S CABRIO #233

Hey all, I’m a new member to the forum (though an avid reader over the years) and pulled the trigger on #233 (without a road test or visual inspection...eeeek!)

Haven’t picked it up just yet, but really hoping it’s as sweet as it looks :)
