Re: 2002 E39 B10 V8 #198/1 PROJECT

This has been languishing at that specialist for a good few years. It has swapped plates in the last 12mths though so maybe a change of ownership? It was off the road for a number of years - apparently a previous garage it was taken to for some work went under and it took a while to sort out. The p...

Still enjoying the updates Kenny - hard to believe winter lasted 7 months..... That intake looks great and the boot mat is a nice touch too. Enjoy the better weather!

Re: 2002 E39 B10 V8 #198/1 PROJECT

Just checked on the archive and it looks like it was one of the very last - 198 out of 203?

Was a lovely car in its heyday.

2002 E39 B10 V8 #198/1 PROJECT

The garage that looks after my Alpinas currently has a B10 in with a potentially seized engine. The owner took it in as it was very sluggish to turn over. However, the garage said it barely turns over with a bar, and there are shards of metal in the sump. The owner of the car doesn't want to get int...

Re: Some photos of my F31 B3S

I had a print from this photoshoot on my bedroom wall as a kid - Car magazine must have done a run of them, it had their logo in the bottom corner, and was a present from my Mom and Dad. Iconic photo - I'd like to think it's still around somewhere in my parents house...... My Dad thinks it's still ...

Nice to see a Gordon Keeble, a friend had one fifty years ago.
Fond memories of blasts down to the West Country :D
There were 3 of them parked together - fantastic looking cars.

Here’s the plate on my Touring when it was a demonstrator
I love that car, and that's a cracking photo! Didn't realise it was a demonstrator.

Re: B5 on collecting cars #075 E60

Congratulations on the purchase. It sounds like you may have got a real bargain there. As the guys above said, they really listed out all the issues which no doubt put people off from bidding, but it may be a lot of them are simple fixes. Good luck with the project - look forward to seeing some phot...

Yeah either there or the one at Junction 10. The entrance to Cherwell Valley can get pretty busy though so Warwick may be better.

Is there anywhere else? It was a bit tight on there last time..... Maybe the motorway services? Guess it depends how many others might be joining.
