Re: M760LI famous owner but an Alpina owner

Dad here! Thanks for the detail right up. Especially the MPG. Thought 30mpg might be possible, not that you would buy this to save fuel but god to know. Considering this as a 3 day a week 150 mile round trip to and from work. Would replace the D4 but would still have the E46 B3.

Re: F30 D3 Euro 6 Compliance

“ The Birmingham CAZ people have apparently updated the details with the DVLA and have told me to expect a new V5 with 'Euro 6' stated on it. ”

Impressive they have taken the trouble to do that and even more so DVLA have acted on it.

D3 BI Turbo FT66 JRV M3 Southbound

Black D3 seen on M3 southbound approx 3p Sat 19 Th June turning off at Winchester. I was in the 550i with a full load of dog and kit.

Looked like in good condition. Shame I wasn’t in an Alpina to say hello.

N57 EGR & Swirl flap issue

My 96k miles D4 been out of action for past few weeks while at Sytner Sunningdale. It went in early June due to a sudden loss of power above 2500rpm. After investigating with Carly and poking around the engine discovered the EGR actuator had been connected following EGR recall work in January. Carly...

Congratulations on getting the B4 but perhaps will wait until it’s delivered the 2nd time. Sytner do not do this themselves any favours do they.

Re: Which Sytner for servicing in London?

I had a run in with Sytner Sunningdale but recently needed to have some warranty work undertaken. On my previous disaster visit the Service Manager left me his details and said to contact him next time so I did. Have to say they made a point of ensuring I was looked after and I noticed the differenc...

Re: Help needed - Thinking of buying a Tesla!

Like Charles I think Hydrogen is yet to play its card but today its not here. Close relative who is an an advanced driver, likes his cars and can drive them recently got a Telsa 3 from an Audi SQ5 and absolutely loves it. I was surprised he made that change and more that he likes but they wouldn't b...
