Re: D3BT #454
Bumping this and will do a proper write up in a few weeks with photos when the weather is better but it’s now time for #454 to find a new home. Took delivery of a 440i last weekend as I wanted some more modern features as I’m now doing ~20k p/a. Not in a rush to sell, want it to go to a good home. M...

Hopefully it can go to a good home, would be nice if it’s somebody on here as it’ll be nice to see it about. *not affiliated to the seller* Old Man already has his new daily, he was going to PX this bu...

Re: M760LI famous owner but an Alpina owner
As a slight aside, I am now the very proud owner of an M760Li - it's fantastic. How are you getting on with the 760? Anything to look out for that you’ve noticed after living with it? My dad is eyeing up getting one. Coming across one with a relatively decent colour combo is proving to be quite dif...

Re: F32 D4 Bi Turbo #259
Thanks ttril 2018 onwards ideally, but a well maintained older car might be okay; mileage less than 30,000 if possible. I would like pro nav, but other than that I have no wish list. Price, £37K'ish. For the right car I would stretch to £45K. A dealer px would be best, otherwise I will have to sell...

Re: F32 D4 Bi Turbo #259
I saw this car in the flesh yesterday. The blue/black combo isn't too bad in my view (beauty in the eye of the beholder) and the headlining is okay. What I would say is the car is very clean, wheels look perfect, and the interior is very tidy. It might be back on the market soon, as the dealer and ...

Re: D3BT #454
Been meaning to update this for abit but never quite get round to it so here goes: Sept 21: I replaced all the front arms on the car with genuine parts, I could not quite believe the difference it made to the steering. I also had the rear lower bushings changed which got rid of a small vibration I w...

Re: D3 BT questions
Hi Frozzie, Welcome to the forum, the D3BT’s are great cars but not without their issues. I don’t recall any BT’s dropping their chain but to be on the safe side, I’d change them anyway. There’s not any Alpina parts involved in this so it’s very straight forward for a regular garage to do. The EGR i...

Had some corrosion warranty bits to do so I had Synter High Wycombe do it, wasn't trouble free but overall it turned out alright in the end

Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring NO. 51
This was for sale last year at James Paul. We went to have a look at it and it was a little crusty underneath, nothing major but needed attention, that being said the boot floor was needing to be replaced.

Re: Sytner ALPINA Nottingham 24th April 22
That Heritage leather is awesome. On reflection I was quite taken with Aftab’s B6 BT too. The spec on that is epic but it is hard to see the Ruby effect under even quite sunny conditions. I loved the B6 aswell, ironically both been through Bramley. When moving about I could see the ruby c...
