Re: E46 B3 Saloon 2002 Idle Control Valve part number ?

@E46330 - Please post a few pictures when you clean your idle valve. I would like to give this a go on my car. Not that anything is wrong with my car, but for preventative reasons. It would be good to have a how to guide.

Re: E46 B3 S CABRIO #150

If only the weather in the UK was better suited to a cab, this looks like a great car.
Some might tell me that there is the option of a hard top, but this really detracts from the cars subtle lines.

Nice car - very similar to mine. I will be interested to see how long this takes to sell. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Charles. It didn't work.

Alarm also seems to have a life of its own.

Re: Battery issues

I followed the E46 Sunroof reset guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gogb7rBjxms and it has got my sunroof working with all features again. I then tried all the windows and all have one touch up and down, with exception the drivers side rear. I have tried all manner of things on this, but no...

Re: Battery issues

The car is testing me at the moment. So when i replaced the battery yesterday the sunroof was open in the tilt position. I didn't give it a thought as it was so warm. Today I tried to close it and it doesn't want to know. It will open fully and then go back to the tilt position. The hedgehog has arr...

Re: Battery issues

I have just bought a cheap and cheerful battery load tester from Ebay. This will help and at around £10 for the tester, might save me money.

Still - if anyone knows how to diagnose the FSR - that would be great.

Re: Battery issues

Thanks All. Resurrecting this thread as I have had some more trouble. Left the Alpina on my drive way and left for a long weekend in Edinburgh. Just as i got to Carlisle, my neighbour called up and told me that the car alarm was going off. Luckily he has the key to my house and was able to access th...

Re: Long shot - car hire

No sorry if my post was not clear. I am happy to pay for 'rental' for a few days, but don't wish to pay over inflated costs.

The more unscrupulous would book in their car to the dealer and take the loan car...... :D

Long shot - car hire

I have booked a short stint away in Edinburgh later this month and had planned to take the wife's Audi diesel for the 7 hour drive up and of course back down country. My man maths based brain has made me think, why not start the holiday as soon as you get in the car? I thought about renting a Porsch...
