I did find A-plan easy to use and got an agreed valuation policy sorted without too much extra hassle. It is good they know what Alpina’s are!
Let’s hope none of us need to find out how they deal with claims.

I think pre 2009 all Alpinas were classed as PLG even D3’s, but after this they started using the emissions based system. I am not sure of the exact cutoff but does seem that way. My 2008 B6S is PLG. I think you have that wrong. Even if the VED system was changed it wouldn’t be retrospective. If you have the emissions Info it is on the V5. Your car will be classed as a PLG over 1600cc.

My B6 was originally from Glasgow but moved down south early on its life. Time for a trip back to the motherland.
