Re: Alpina B6s E64
I did indeed sell mine earlier this year, luckily to another Alpina enthusiast. Robs car is lovely, I’m sure any prospective new owner would be lucky to get it. Gratuitous pic of when both of our cars were together at a previous Sytner meet. Stratos Grey is a great colour, always changing in the lig...

Re: E63 B6S COUPE #138
Dismantled according to the archive, dodgy mileage history on the MOT history, obviously been written off, hilarious asking price and reincarnated without an insurance U.K. Cat history. It a big no from me.

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Still enjoying the Maser, thankfully been behaving it’s self. I just picked up a L405 Range Rover as the “sensible car”. What could possibly go wrong…..
Many great memories with the B6 but the Maser suits my Sunday motoring needs better. So many great cars to try, such little time!

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Said goodbye to #100. After 7 great years it has gone off to its new home, the new owner is already a member here. Happy to know it is leaving me in a better condition than when I got it and gone to a good home and fellow enthusiast. No doubt I will return to Alpina ownership yet again in the future...

Norman has a B7 not a B5. Unless you spotted a B7 it definitely wasn’t Norman.

Here is the parts catalogue for the B5 which should help you out. https://lookaside.fbsbx.com/file/B5_E6x_Englisch.pdf?token=AWxZ8MD4K12aYh2RGP4sexWPAnMgTSaJxSe45KBReSG2uj4hhkwEQsWq7-SA8Ei29gG-ibTXwaB8ymFW670KpWrjgXNurFKgRH4G9UVZrhzCxDWoI_FHdJBAfUEAX772xFtozOlNPufg0cvKbUYjbYYZqxE3nk0vsPbb7AC7iUeTFbh...

Re: E46 B3 3.3 Coupe #274 MANUAL 6 speed
I’m sure the oily bits are top notch knowing Barry, but the beige carpet and grubby looking leather turns me off. If it had dark carpets and a leather refresh, bet it would look great. Maybe dye the carpet? Not sure how feasible that is or just source a cheap black carpet to fit off eBay maybe? Just...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Tried to book my car in for just an MOT at local BMW dealer. Receptionist couldn’t find it on their system (business as usual then), but after much fussing confirmed all booked. This was a few weeks ago but as I had no email confirmation called today to confirm. No sign of booking and surprise surpr...

Re: ALPINA brand becomes part of the BMW Group
There has always been different shades of “Alpinaness” I guess. They all provide a small side discussion on how far they differentiate from the BMW models. Some have unique engines, hand made interiors etc, others just a remap and light cosmetic differences. It is a broad church here in Alpina land....

Re: ALPINA brand becomes part of the BMW Group
Will Sytner converted cars will be seen as desirable as any Buchloe made Alpina? All cars today are German made, but if you are referring to the cars produced up to the early 90's then thats always been the case, which is regularly defended and rebuked. So, my point exactly! will these older Sytner...

Re: ALPINA brand becomes part of the BMW Group
Not surprising as others have said, but sad none the less. Cue BMW made Alpinas in the future being frowned upon by the old school Buchloe original owners in the future!
