Unusual valuation?

Well after my 150 miles per day commute, I am finally moving in the summer. After 5 years of three hours a day On the M4/M5, I will be walking to work! I don't think a D3 mono is good for short journeys and shopping, especially one with one or two miles. So how do I value it? I have nothing to compa...

Nice B10 burnham on sea

Nice red B10 at Tesco burnham on sea yesterday. I saw as I was coming out of a junction. The more classic Alpinas don't have the noticeable lettering on the front splitter, so I was: 'is it, or isn't it', right up until it passed. I joined in convoy and we were both going to Tesco, probably as men b...

Well I've done 100,000 in two and a half years. It looks like the original BMW battery on 185,000. I need it to see me through to the summer when she goes into retirement, so a ctek may not be for me. I just need to be able to drive to work without faffing with chargers etc. Maybe that's one for the...

It's an e90 D3. It is only build no 98, so it's early. Def just a brown wire to the battery, no sensor.

I have inpa etc, so I'm sure I could google how to program battery.

Batteries

I have been getting a few electrical gremlins, clock resetting, warning lights that appear then disappear and leave no code, dim headlights. The dot on my battery is black, which apparently means it holds little charge now according to the instructions on the top There is no ibs s sensor on my earth...

Post resurrection! Still living with the problem and the codes still disssapear and the fault only lasts a few seconds, but as an update, now it's winter I am using my headlights. I have a new symptom VERY occasionally now. When the fault happens sometimes, my wipers go on full speed and cannot be t...

Ok, thanks. Got to worry about why my wipers just stopped working in torrential rain first. Not fun in the fast lane, but thank god for rainex!

Got to wait for a gap in the rain to drive to the bmw garage to get a relay. Fingers crossed that fixes it, as I have 150 miles to do tomorrow...

How can you tell? What do I need to look for? I will need new wheels in about six months, the special chocolate/plasticine alloy does not like Welsh potholes and are more weld than alloy now on mine.

I use boot polish once a month. My D3 is used 3 hours a day solid, so the gearstick and wheel do get worn. It's not perfect, but 90% better. Just make sure you polish it all off and don't get it on the stitching. I don't think a shiny, slippery steering wheel is a good thing

I suppose so. My last experience was a Chevette in sickly green that we called a 'shove it' as kids as we had to push it everywhere.

vauxhalls? Pride and joys? Vauxhall meet? I'm confused. Do people actually show off vauxhalls?
