Re: E46 B3.3 Coupe (#088)

Looks a lot tidier indeed. Would be interesting to see the level / quality of paint work repairs. What are everyone's thoughts on the car running non OE suspension? (does it lower or increase the price?)

Re: CPC Performance Engineering

They can be tardy when using 'normal' communications methods as others have mentioned the same. I have known Phil for a few years now, the team do excellent work. Best thing is to rock up and book your car in for the next date available. It might sound a bit alein not being able to book over the pho...

Re: E46 B3 3.3 CABRIO #253

Agree with you Brian that price and spec on this one is not in it's favour. Which ones are crazily priced? I haven't seen too many recently that are beyond 15K? There was the low mileage 3.3 in Steel Blue one with birch wood, 34K, extended leather, that was circa 20K but easily falls into the 'Find ...

Re: Alpina B3 S brake imbalance

Not heard of this specifically before. My guess is its a e46 issue rather then a Alpina one. You did the right things already and it's usually a process of elimination. I had my calipers rebuilt with new pistons and rubbers last year... This did make a significant difference on the pedal feel. Consi...

Re: Petrolheads Runnymeade Pleasure Gardens 30th May 2021

Great turn out on Sunday. Was a pleasure to see Brian again and meet Avtar, Jules in person too. Also special thanks to wing man Mark in his pristine Z4Roadster (forget his username) quote of the day 'who we following?' If anyone hasn't been to the Runnymeade meet before thoroughly recommend it. Pro...

Re: E46 B3s manual conversion?

Personally would get it done on a coupe saloon or touring.. As you say a weak part of the car and known to sap power! Mines a vert so suits the cruiser appeal! Interestingly the z4 roadster alpina is a manual but I would guess the chassis is stiffer then the older e46 roof chopped off design..so sui...

Look forward to seeing those joining. With or without parts on their cars no judgement here :D

On a serious note ETA is still 07:45 (possible before depending on when I leave Beconsfield services with a fellow Alpina driver) for a rendezvous at Sainsbury's before we set off to Runnymeade.
