Re: E91 C3--- Grey

Interesting, I’ve only been aware of two UK ALPINAs that have topped 400k. Would you mind sharing the full reg for reference Steve?

www.mdecoder.com still works too, but again you need the full 17-digit BMW VIN these days

Re: Wishbone for B3 E36 1999?

Atticus - all the parts lists from ALPINA are here: https://thealpinaregister.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=24985 Presuming you have a 3.2, the wishbone and associated bushings should be standard 328i parts. The only suspension parts charged are the springs, shocks, top mounts, etc If your car doe...

Re: Wanted: Green F31 B3 D3 touring or F32 B4 D4 convertible

Probably helpful to understand the pool of UK cars you are looking at. These are the 20x UK F3x's sold new in ALPINA Green. If you discount the 7x Saloon and Coupe's and the 4x with Black leather plus the 1x now in Australia, you're looking at a pretty small pool of possible candidates.

This is Josh's old B12 Avtar. He had it advertised on eBay in Nov-23 for £40k, then this dealer has had it up since Dec-23 for £65k

Quite a few white B7's in the Archive, none known in the UK but quite possible one was imported from UAE/Japan

All good thanks Ade, hope you are too? Change of circumstance has hampered my time to play sadly, but was the right choice in other respects.

Re: G31 B5 Touring

Yes, I heard similar Ade. Apparently Ed (Dick) Lovett is the principal shareholder in Collecting Cars. The suggestion was that ghost bids were at play on the CC auction and in reality it didn't sell, then it ended up at Dick Lovett as a trade sale
