I did get into some serious conversation with the seller and was probably going to go ahead with a price drop to £18850. But after some good advice provided from a fellow well versed Alpina forum member, backed away.

I did say that the price was on the high side for what I was prepared to pay and waited for that kind of response actually, but all I had was "No problem"
and that ended the conversation. I would probably have gone to see it for around the £18K mark.

Agree, absolutely over the top at £21K would be fair at the £15500 mark. I 've rang him for a chat it's not a private sale as such, he says he buys and sells as a hobby full time! Still, it is a nice car though but not at that price.

What's the thoughts on the asking price of £21K for this 2008 on 83K miles.

The seller hasn't had it very long then, bit unusual maybe.

Can I ask for any advice about this car please i do like a convertible. Are they an expensive car to maintain and run? Does it compare to my existing D3 2ltr that I also like very much in this Santorini Blue???
