Looks worse in flesh rest looks lovely plate looks odd
Only Audi can proper carry it
That will be this one then. On all pre launch renders and visuals there was no plate shown so looks like they forgot to factor this in on the original design to me.

Re: M3 Touring against B3 touring

Seeing the teasers from BMW about the upcoming M3 touring (thought it was a joke at first, it isn’t) and how it will fare against the B3. Of course they will sell bucket loads more than the B3 as they’ll be able to do cheap finance and will probably be just as comparable in sales as the M3 Saloon a...

Re: Best stuff to reapply lettering

Adding replacement letters that were new, but removed and held storage for a while. So they came with no template and needed the sticky adhesive to be replaced. Both ALPINA and B3S came from a forum member having already been applied to a vehicle but the removed soon after. Original letters next to ...

I'm going to do mine a bronze colour when i get a free weekend.

Image
These look great, Alpina Green would be a good fit but it would be good to see these on any colour as a match.

Re: Does 2007 D3 MT come with a tracker fitted?

They were a dealer fit optional extra or one may have been fitted aftermarket. If there is no paperwork with the car with the details then I’d assume not. This one is how I remember this. When I picked up my my D3 MT E90 FJ56CGX from Sytner Nottingham in 2007 there was an option for an aftermarket ...

Re: D3 F30 BiTurbo Sapphire Black Now Detailed

Very nice! What approach did you take to get this result? I wanted to avoid chemicals as much as possible inside, I have never found an off the shelf Exhaust pipe cleaner fluid that you would just spray on and it magically makes the chrome/stainless "pop" and remove carbon build up. So the approach...

Re: D3 F30 BiTurbo Sapphire Black Now Detailed

Insides of of the tail pipes now done, I did these myself and they were not done by the detailer. My thoughts on this are that they should look at doing this for the complete detail as part of the package, but it was no problem doing this after the event. I just needed to use the right materials as ...

Re: D3 F30 BiTurbo Sapphire Black Now Detailed

Lovely job that. I'm a sucker for hoovered carpet stripes too (or should that be 'vacuumed' - I'm old too and nothing wrong with calling it a valance :D ) Thanks Jules, I guess even further back in time we used to call it a "front bumper", but things have progressed a bit over the years. Having loo...
