Re the mirror dip yeah I think u toggle to left it will dip and if pushed to right I think it’s stays upright ?
So that bit works but now the triangular joystick wasn’t working prior to disconnecting it was altering drivers side - negative on passengers adjusting
And the square button does sweet fa

Did u replace the drivers side only? Yours is facelift like mine
Did u buy new or chance a 2nd hand item ? & had it resolved everything ? How long ago did you do yours

Update on this no power to mirror so had to be manually brought down as stop gap for now Bmw want 700 for mirror 😬 I think the ribbon must be toast in mirror but also the door switch must have had it as well as before disconnecting it only worked the drivers mirror adjustment but the square button d...

Have they written anywhere that you get paid out 15k if not I’d push for that

Keep the left Alpina for spares or sell
Hairdryer and fishing line dental floss to get them off
