Re: Bilstein Dampers / Eibach Springs For E46 B3
charles are the original alpina components NLA through all the usual sources and/or are they silly money? Yes and/or yes! Some cynics here might comment on my car being "Trigger's Broom" already, so what does it matter if I go non-OEM. However, an OEM set is approximately double the money at about ...

Re: Bilstein Dampers / Eibach Springs For E46 B3
Things also got a bit more confusing as the guy I had a chat with at Bilstein sent me another email with some more shocks with different part numbers I had a similar chat with someone and they gave me the same selection of B8 Sprint shock absorbers as a third (confusing) option too! Re: Bilstein Dampers / Eibach Springs For E46 B3
charles is an expert here albeit for an S but he will know Not necessarily but, as luck would have it, I am researching this for my car at the moment. If you select an E46 B3 on the Bilstein website, the first suggestions that come up are for B8 shocks, which are the part numbers that you have list...

Re: E46 B3S - Engine cover, numbers gone....
I lost mine a while back and decided to buy a new cover - about £100 or so at the time but probably more now! As soon as I got it, I softened the glue holding it in and reglued it with something much stronger and heat-resistant (because that's why they loosen over time, I believe). Still there - but...

Re: B10 Touring failing to proceed
It's not a complicated or time consuming job, but OEM parts aren't cheap.

Re: B10 Touring failing to proceed
This has reminded me of similar behaviour on my car a while back when the fuel level and OBC "range" started to behave differently to what I was used to, whereby it appeared that my fuel consumption was minimal for the first half of the tank and then plummeted for the second half - instead of the li...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?
Fitted the summer set, with a new pair of PS5 tyres on the rear ( still got plenty of life left on the PS4 fronts).
Similar tread pattern to the PS4, but too soon to offer any thoughts on relative performance.

Re: Happy birthday #049
That's brilliant, being a 1 owner car is something special but with that mileage as well. I've done 50,000 in mine in the 6 years I've owned it and still enjoy every miles so doing 385K is a bit special. Mark, this is a thread resurrection from last year 😄 To update, as of March 24, the car is 21 y...

That came from my contact at Buchloe - it's the old school ledger thy had been using for all models over the years. Probably all computerised these days, unfortunately
