Re: Spotted at Silverstone

Nice,

I wanted to go to that - as a lifelong VW owner - but we have done a bit this year - and get overruled by the no.1 son, who is a JapFest Fan.

Could you get on the track?

Re: B10 V8s roll-call!

We have #96 Bob - It is on B10 VSX currently. It has quite an interesting back story that I am still trying to piece together completely - if anyone knows anything else. We got it (in April 2018) via a car storage unit in Cambridge from Finnish guy who worked in the City, apparently. He had got it f...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Said goodbye to #100. After 7 great years it has gone off to its new home, the new owner is already a member here. Happy to know it is leaving me in a better condition than when I got it and gone to a good home and fellow enthusiast. No doubt I will return to Alpina ownership yet again in the futur...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Not Today due to lack of wifi - but Friday. Sat in the queue at Dover with 30,000 Liverpool supporters - didn't have the balls to shout out - "we're all Barnsley aren't we", lol!! Anyway - first Euro trip in the old girl since 2018 - and probably the longest that we have sat in it since 2019. Forgot...

Re: Adventures of the Atlantis Blue - E46 B3 Coupe #136

Great looking trip. Missing getting out to Europe with all the recent shannigans. Can't believe that you happened upon the two guys with the 355's at the weekend - I was just talking to one of them on the Facebook F355 Fanclub yesterday when they posted their videos - small world!! Hopefully catch u...

Re: E91 B3s from france

Nice Motor - they definitely grow on you! There certainly seems to be more Alpina's popping up in France now. Not that I've seen one on my travels over there, yet!! I know when we got ours in 2007 it was a bit of a talking point amongst the petrol heads in my wife's family about how rare they were t...

FRENCH BMW MEET 29/05/22

Hi All, Hope that you are all well now that things are getting back to normal. Is anyone going to the French Meet at Clastres Circuit on the 29/05?? I am sure that I'd seen that some members were thinking about going - although it may have been on one of the numerous FACEBOOK sites? Though that I mi...

That is really stunning.

Makes me rethink my "no new car" rule!!

I'll keep an eye out for that in Sheffield.

TVMOC Mini Day and Classic Cars - 20th June 2021

Hi, Just posting this as it may be of interest to some of the Northerners. One of my fellow workers is one of the chairs of the TVMOC and has asked me if any of my "old bangers" will be taxed in time for this!! Entrance is due to be free - but they generally ask for a voluntary donation from attende...

Re: E93 B3S buying advice please

We are lucky enough to have had #233 for a couple of years. So I'll chuck my two-penneth in, if that's ok! It has approx 90k on the clock and looking down the full BMSH it has only had the "normal service" items before we had it - apart from a front left hand shocker and the roof seals replaced (not...

D5/B5 - Holmewood, Chesterfield

Spotted at the lights in Holmewood heading out towards J29 M1.

Could have been Dark Green, Blue or Black, lol! I was that shocked to see the ALPINA on the front spoiler it had gone by!!

I was saving the planet in the grey Superb Estate iV - heading the other way.

Looked very clean!

XD3 - T400 *** in t'Barnsley

Spotted the above on my way home from work on Saturday Night - at the top of Harborough Hills.

Anyone on here - looked stunningly clean, and fast.

Took me by surprise as it is not often we get much culture in these parts, lol!!

Sorry to hear that it was such a big job, I thought that you had nailed it with the oil change at Sytners.

Did you also do the chain guides or were they ok.
