Re: F31 B3 BiTurbo #059 (in Japan)

2 years ago the same 40’ containers would have been about $1,500!

Re: F31 B3 BiTurbo #059 (in Japan)

Am I wrong in thinking that would be £35-38k or so over here? Seems value at £20k, but then imagine that shipping fees, import duty, VAT etc etc might make it less attractive to a UK buyer. Still a lovely thing mind you. This week we are quoted for a 40' container (cost, insurance & freight) from M...

Re: G31 B5 BiTurbo #055 (Lavalina)

Yes £3.4K is a heck of a lot extra! I just feel very rich, rather discerning (hence Alpina choice) buyers would want "the ultimate" in everything when upgrading a B5. As Guy says - each to his own! Guy - how come you don't listen in car? I have a B&W system in my Volvo - it's extremely good - but no...

Want! :drool
I'm surprised when people "tick everying" to presumable end up way over £100K new that they don't upgrade the sound system too?

Re: Almost like an Alpina ?

I could have sworn I saw him pull out of my local coffee shop over the weekend in a new M3, dark blue, maybe tan interior - first one I’ve seen - rather good actually (purposeful I’d say) and the front grills not too noticeable.

Yes, it was me who posted a wanted ad. Now deleted as I've put a deposit on an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio instead. Sod's law that as soon as I commit to another car, a B3 appears... True...BUT - a Quadrifoglio!!! :dance Please share your experiences! The Quadrifoglio is a fantastic car, and quite Alp...

Re: Leather

Update Will try "Colin" shortly too. The people in Somersham put me on to a chap (Simon at Cambridge Concours) - he looked at the photo and thinks the bolster was previuosly repaired hence the colour came off on cleaning. He's quoting £150+VAT to reconolise the bolster. Another approach is A&R Pound...
