#170 Checking out.

Greetings. Sadly it was time for the B10 to go onto pastures new. Just to say a big thank you to all on the forum for your help. I will miss the Gaydon experience but will still pop over to say hello. I am now the proud owner of a BMW 335d M Sport. Hope it will be as faithful as my B10. Keep up the ...

I'm not sure I'd treat the airbag light being on as minor, I'd quite like my airbags to work in a crash  I understand what you are saying but they did run it through a fault finder and nothing came up. He told me the connector has not been moved for 15 years and a quick plug out and plug back ...

Greetings. Luckily mine was M.O.T in February. Only problem I have now is the air bag light has come on again. When Munich legends had a look at it they informed me it was a common fault and easy fix. he just unplugged the connector under the drivers seat, sprayed some WD40 and hey ho problem solved...

Greetings.... Will be talking to Teddy soon. Spoke to Roy and he said a few Alpinas has put on a Eisenmann exhaust but you need to get the right diameter for it to fit. They only do supply now and he is going to look into it for me. I wonder if those Alps with the Eisenmann exhaust are on this forum...

Greetings Glad to hear he's OK. Real shame about the Alp though. I always bide by that rule of getting out the car when I have broken down. Carry a couple of blankets in the boot is my motto. It always worries me that if my car is hit it will be a write off. Had an incident last year in a B and Q ca...

Greetings and welcome to the dark side I agree with the build up on the disk can cause the brake pedal to feel different (judder) but I tend to do some hard braking and it sorts itself out. Only happens when I have been on holiday and the weather here has been bad. Have noticed it as well when i was...

Greetings... I have heard a lot about droning at 2-3000 revs but to be honest I have always put on some kind of sports exhaust and never seen it as an issue. My daughter even misses the sound on my E46 with an m style quad exhaust. I'm sure that used to drone. Maybe I didn't notice as I would just b...

Eisenmann Exhaust

Greetings... Well I have brought this subject up before but have now decided to take the plunge. I have seen a lot of you tube clips with various exhaust and heard a lot at car shows last year but now have to decide between Supersprint or Eisenmann. Looks like Supersprint sounds like a Gt and Eisenm...

Greetings. Coming to the discussion late but I take my hat of to all who help to put Alpina's on display at Gaydon and always singing your praises. Yes it is a bit same old same old but we should build on what we got. I would have loved to go to the Alpina meet in Nottingham but it was the same day ...
