Matt sorted out the deal at Sytners and 4.5% apr from BMW, ~I couldn't resist it. :D it's not an Alpina  but it's as quick as the B3, cheap insurance £250, 5 years servicing f...

I'm not sure I totally agree with that synopsis... Yes the content of the ecu and its mapping is different on the ALPINA from that on the BMW but I would have thought the ECU hardware itself would have started out as the same.. Certainly I believe this to be the case on the current cars So to use yo...

Re: Crashed B5 at the Nurburgring.

Sadly spotted a black B5 in the barriers at Brundchen today. The car was on German plates so unlikely to be anyone on here. Didn't look like a massive hit, but an ADAC truck was about to load it up as we drove past. Here it is on YouTube. This is also in the general forum - Ouch with the repair bil...

Hi Simon

Good to see you're back in a Roadster

Curious as to why you jumped out of 344 so quickly (only as it was my old car) was it much lower miles etc... PM me if you'd prefer to.

Also have you added 155 to the register yet?

The rear spoiler is right' just looks particularly big cause it's on a silver car,

Though I presume it's a kitted up 745i (how many tailpipes blacky?)

to be honest - not sure what price he's expecting...

£50k purchase price - 3 years later - best to expect is 40% these days.
(which is £20k) after all their offer is going to have to have a margin built into it...

Maybe a stupid question but are you sure the car has a car kit fitted..

on the MT cars I believe Bluetooth/phone kits wasn't standard..

There will be a phone symbol on the steering wheel - but this is because the button is on all wheels... (even on cars without phone kits)

very nice indeed - I've to the F10 520d M sport as a daily and I love mine. Infact as a comparision I spent today in a more expensive Jag XF S and compared to me 5 - didn't rate it (sure it was faster but fit finish and more importantly ride was not anywhere near as compliant- it was on 20's though)...
