The reason behind the legislation is to reduce risk of contamination of natural ground water, although with the car wash ban it has been taken over the top. Same as with petrol stations, places where you can wash your car now require facilities to catch and recycle the used water instead of allowing...

Unfortunately "Approved Used" doesn't mean much at all. When the dealer buys a car and would indeed rectify what is found during a check it would go on top of the cost of the car, be charged to the used sales department and reduce the profit margin. If they sell the car as is and then rectifyproblem...

That's also reflected in the relationship between Bavaria and the rest of Germany. It's a symbiotic relationship which works well. Germany is well balanced in economic terms with five or six geographic centres of excellence. Bavaria has it's own identity - but it is neither subsidised, nor subsidis...

Saturday 14th is rwyb already and we will be there for an overnighter with BMWLand, too. Sunday is the show day and rwyb for BMW derived cars only. When the weather is there, it usually is a good fun weekend. A lot of the show stands on Sunday are a little Max Power, but this show is for everything ...

Apart from E36 and E46!

Edit: Just checked the Technical Manual, E9x = 120Nm.
Which technical manual is that? Only ever known them to be 120NM for BMW back to E36 and E34

cars using M14x1.25 like E65 7 series or X5/6 or latest 5 are using 140NM +/- 10NM

Don't know where he gets the hp from, but the 4.8is carries the same engine as the B10 V8s. That's pretty much where Alpina finishes on that car

The stuff they use (should be anyway) is 10w-60 Castrol Edge Professional. Now, the professional is only labelled that way and available at the dealers. A bit of smoke-and-mirrors going on there, I think as it's just TWS 10w60 - 'professional' is normally supplied to main dealerships but, if you re...
