Re: Educate me please....

I have an E46 M3 (manual) on its way to me very soon so will be able to make my own comparisons. I liked most things about the B3s except one in particular - the auto gearbox. I just couldn’t get on with it and felt the car would be so much better as a manual, but I know that’s personal choice and ...

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Crashing along the country roads of West Sussex :? , thought I would let the Sat Nav take the short route from Ditchling to Duddleswell, you don't actually drive along any tarmac you just lurch from one huge hole to the next. Luckily the brilliant Alpina suspension absorbed it. Down to walking pace ...

Interesting, but feel there will be a log jam of events all trying for same weekends. Own a business based Newark so could hold a Board meeting.
Should be alright Norman, it's after the 17th of May :D

Re: The mysterious B12 E38 LWB

I don't think the Blue Alpina dials were fitted to the RHD E38s, but the speedo fitted to yours is showing 20mph less than the actual top speed of 175 MPH :think. What happens when you use all of it's performance :? I was in Buchloe for their 40th, when Richard had his dials fitted at the factory, I...

Alpina Fridge Magnets

Alpina have just put on sale 6 magnets showing different race cars. These are selling for 12 euro a set. Thought I would treat myself to a set :D Alpina charge 19.95 euros P&P. CIF roughly £27.50, by the time you add VAT and the fee the post levy for producing the parcel to customs the total could s...

23" wheels... :think
They are probably the ones left over from the XB7s they can not get rid of, as a real Alpina enthusiast wouldn't buy that garden shed :D
