Re: 2008 E93 B3

Yeah you are right - they have bumped the price up by £2K I am talking to one of their sales staff who is off today, but when he is back will say if I proceed surely it will be at the price that I first enquired at... Whilst typing...anyone recommend any good insurance...I got a quote at over £3K f...

Re: 2008 E93 B3

If you are looking specifically for an E93, you might get a better response from the more "general" BMW forums/facebook groups. There will be a far wider audience there who will be able to provide advice/feedback on the E93 platform in general. Engine wise, the B3 shares the same N54 platform as the...

Re: B3 for sale - Anyone know this car?

Price seems fairly reasonable for a trade sale. Interior is quite interesting! Looking for a reliable, rare daily to also use when the sun is out and one's shiny head can help the aero of the car when the top is down... Not sure if you noticed but the link was for an E92 (coupe) rather than E93 (con...

Re: Roadster S

Aero skirt on one side and standard on the other? I think I considered the same car back in 2010 before buying #073 and it had the same side skirt arrangement back then!

Re: b3 biturbo e92 074 17k sad story

Thanks very much for that. The post LCI paddles sound a bit too complicated for me but I might just about manage the pre LCI one :D To keep all original items in order I may just buy a pre LCI M Sport wheel c/w paddles and have it refurbished. Your current project sounds interesting. Would be intere...

Re: Car cover

Congrats on the purchase Martin. Is it staying local to where it was purchased from or heading further afield?

The Stormforce custom fit outdoor car cover is pretty decent https://www.techautos.co.uk/outdoor-sto ... 7563-p.asp

Re: b3 biturbo e92 074 17k sad story

I fitted the dash gauge as per the GT3 and the thicker, retrimmed Msport wheel by Bespoke Leathering and the later I drive controller it’s plug and play for the Ccc. Hi John, slightly off topic but would you mind sharing the parts required for the steering wheel and paddle swap? It's something that...

Re: 2002 E39 B10 3.3 #51

I made a similar move many years ago from an e39 manual 530i Sport to B10 Touring (albeit the V8 variety). The change in fuel consumption was quite painful but if you are looking at the 3.3 it shouldn't be much different to what you are used to. All the best in your search, prices for these e39's ha...

Re: Alpina Roadster S Lux for Sale #307

I have to say that I'm surprised this is still for sale. When I had my one the market just a few weeks prior, it had almost twice the mileage and the asking price wasn't significantly less than this one. It was deposited twice in a matter of days (I'm sure you know the story behind the first one...)...
