The leather is plastic coated.....or so I was led to believe.
It will make it smell nice but does it feed the leather?....probably not.

I would like to point out that I could have had the car repaired and it would not have been categorized as far as the insurance was concerned! Part of the reasoning for taking the money and having it written off was that if I p/ex'd it I would have had to say it had been bumped if asked the question...

Give your key to your friendly BMW dealer for him to insert in the key reader.
Ask him for a print out.
When I did this on a previous car it gave a list of all options fitted when built.
