Re: Advice on changing windscreen E46 at dealership

What I would suggest hap is to find out who fits the glass at BMW. It could be that they use Autoglass anyway.

Re: E46 b3s coupe #004

That seems a good price. I wonder if the HG and suspension are still original or have been replaced with OEM?

Re: B6

That possibly is it Bob. It's the same colour. If I see it again I'll stop and take a picture. Thank you for the info on the difference between the two models.

B6

Spotted a B6 yesterday in Whetstone North London. I didn't have time to stop to take a picture but it did look nice. Now I'm not as well versed in these models as some of you here but it was LHD, it had a silver B6 badge and a red 3.5 badge on the boot. BUT the arches did not appear to be flared.

Re: BMW main dealer service

I stand to be corrected but believe your car is based on the 335D and the prices quoted for servicing should reflect this.

Thank you for some clarification gentlemen. It a reminder to keep all the service history present and correct. No wonder sometimes it can be a nightmare to get the correct parts!

MOT history only goes back to 2009. I wonder why that is?

Re: Battery issues

I used these people for my new battery. Good service and a good choice. I chose a Bosch with a little more poke than the original. https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/

Re: Rav's 1999 B3 3.3 Saloon - Yes I bought it!!

Thanks guys. The car is now as she was intended. A proper gentleman's express and not a boy racer car sitting in the weeds. Its actually my birthday today and I feel like i should take up a pipe and listen to some Chopin in my Alpina as I blow away Porsche's on the Autobahns.... I'm hoping that the...

Re: E39 B10 3.3 touring grey #051 James Paul 68k £13990

From another thread regarding this car "Dealer did the classic “I’ve had 7 phone calls today” spiel which I doubt, but possible. The owner that had it from Dec 19 did 10000 in it and put a lot of mechanical issues right including a gearbox rebuild at Bristol transmissions In February. The cooling sy...
