Review:Part of the 'HUGE feeling' was the knowledge that sticking out of each corner of the car were some big expensive vunerable wheels. Not sure of the actual price of each wheel but it is c. £600-700 a piece and due to the size and style this stick out beyond the tyre - meaning that you need to watch what you drive near or ELSE! We both practiced this religiously.
Disaster struck when we had the car cleaned one weekend. The surface of the alloys cracked. Not one, not two but all four - it looked terrible and we were not happy. A trip to Sytners to see what their reaction was. I wasn't quite sure how things would go, as I have had mixed experiences with car faults. However after a bit of dicussion it became clear there was a manufacturing problem with the wheels. Good news 4 new alloys winging their way from Germany.
Unfortunately Sue had a mishap bringing the B10 back from the garage - yep caught one of the brand new alloys on the curb = a nice dent! I beieve that is called Sods law. Being the understanding sod I am, I accepted this as accidental and didn't sulk for a couple of days.
Fortunately for Sue the following weekend in a lovely multi-storey carpark I created a matching dent in another alloy. As you can imagine I didn't sulk for another couple of days again. So there you have it :
4 brand new alloys - 2 dents.
4 cracked and scrapped alloys - 0 dents (bl**dy typical)
