I was away this weekend and my gadget obsessed friend had a couple of big boys toys I thought we're worth a mention.

First I got to play with his Mini Helicopter:

More info here

It was a bit tricky to start with but once the initial charge had dropped a little it was pretty easy to control and a lot of fun.

Second he let me loose on his mini bi-plane:

More info here

This was a little trickier in that you needed more room, but if you had that it was very controllable.

Thoroughly enjoyed both and can't recommend them enough, I know what's on my Xmas list !

Cool Very Happy

The mini helicopter link has been sent - extremely unsubtly - to the T Rex's email

I've got one of those mini helis, Pico-Z I think they're called. They great fun, don't know if it's possible to have more fun from your sofa. Can even fly them one handed. A quick tip - stick a drawing pin in the nose of them to make them fly forwards Twisted Evil

And a few years after that things will turn full circle as the little veloceraptors are nipping at your ankles and you will be back to playing with cool gadgets again ...
