Spotted this on AT, looks like it has most of the Alpina specific parts but the dash plaque below the HVAC panel is missing and from the Archive i can't see any previously known Alpina Blue D4's that fit the bill.

As you can only order Alpina blue cars from Alpina I say it’s the real deal imo.

Be an expensive replica is odd re the dash plaque no engine shots also but looks pukka
I remember there was a white lookalike a few years

Definitely genuine, far too many details that are correct eg. Alpina crest on key, Alpina blue calipers, dash clocks, door sills etc

I agree, it’s unlikely to be a fake, mostly due to the colour, but surprised by the lack of a plaque. Was it a delete-able option?

Doesn’t appear to be a common problem for Alpinas, particularly 3/4yr old ones.

I suppose you just need the Alpina VIN to see which build number belongs to it and order a replacement plaque if it is not with the car.

This one has come back round at Carrera, still looks nice with a decent spec. Doesn't look like the last owner decided to pay up for a build plaque and plinth.
