Thank you gentlemen. I have for some years been following the (second hand) prices of B3's sure that I would one day buy one, to scratch the itch that is often refereed here. In fact I mentioned as much to Metrics/Asim at the CPC meet earlier this year and that it almost certainly had to be Alpina Blue in colour.
I became aware of the B4 and thought I might wait a while until a B4S had depreciated sufficiently, but there have been so few sold and my test drive showed me the a B4 is quick enough. I think if it didn't have a LSD I might not have made the purchase.

Erm, quick enough: yes. Anything sub-5s to 100kph is 'quick enough' imo. Something rarely used in either of mine, but I find it fun when overtaking.AdamB10 wrote:......my test drive showed me the a B4 is quick enough. I think if it didn't have a LSD I might not have made the purchase.
Lack of LSD could have been easily fixed with a quaife for some £££'s. I wouldn't have taken a B3sBiturbo again unless I'd got the funds set aside to sort this engineering and manufacturing error
Enjoy your perfect B4

I remember it well. Many congrats Adam, it's a lovely car and looked to have been owned by another true enthusiast. Looks fantastic in Alpina Blue and must look even better parked next to your V8SAdamB10 wrote:In fact I mentioned as much to Metrics/Asim at the CPC meet earlier this year and that it almost certainly had to be Alpina Blue in colour.
A fine pair of Alpina you have there Adam! Enjoy the car, hope to hook up at the next meet and hear your thoughts on ownership.
