E46 Alpine Interior, where to order parts?

Post by twinturbom3 » Wed Sep 19, 2018 2:26 pm

I have a E46 M3 and would like to order Alpina seats and door cards.

Is there an online webpage to order Alpina parts?

I think you have to actually own an Alpina to buy the parts new as you will be asked to provide evidence of ownership. I did when recently buying Alpina parts.

I may be wrong but hopefully someone else could clarify the answer.

Your best bet would be the 2nd hand market as a few E46 B3 coupes have fallen by the way over the years so a few nice interiors kicking around if you look hard enough

I think you guys are correct, you need to submit ownership proof....

... but where do you normally buy parts online?

As most ‘Alpina’ parts are regular BMW items then same as any other BMW....

You just have to decide if you need OEM or not.

I buy genuine BMW (and Alpina) parts from Cotswold BMW online as they give a good service and ordering through the BMW5 forum you get a small discount.

Where you’re happy with ‘OEM’ but don’t want to pay BMW rates then ECP/GSF or similar are a good alternative.

Lots of other options such as EBay if you’re after a used part depending on what exactly you want.

I think it’s starting to get harder ordering new items from BMW for some of the older models such as the B10 as I’ve personally experienced delays and when I challenged the quality of an item recently was told the new manufactured batch was as good as I would get - and it wasn’t what I would have expected!
