The ad for #354 has disappeared from AT and doesn't appear on the dealer's website, anything to do with you Fraz?

CaesarBob and Ade and Liz,

You guys fairly know your stuff, thanks for the info on 374! The black 354 is sold but following our chat, did you find out the auction sale price for 374 CaesarBob as if it was just over 11k, they appear to be asking way over the odds for it, potentially without doing any of the noted repairs to it!
I do like the white with classics but at that price!!??

Sorry Fraz, unfortunately BCA do not make sale prices public retrospectively, only way you will know for certain is by being in the hall on the day or if you are the seller ... and i am neither.

As a general rule, auction cars generally sell for between 85-105% of CAP Clean depending on condition but this is only really accurate for volume models, Alpina's will be much more volatile due to scarcity and a lack of knowledge by the general buying public. With Phantom, they have previously sold a few Alpinas and lots of other heavy metal, so i suspect they have a fair idea what they're doing.

This is BCA's appraisal report:

D3 BiTurbo #232 Switch-tronic has just reappeared for sale with a new dealer. It's on 50k and is up at £14.7k.

Previously with another dealer since about Feb'18, starting at £15k and dropping as far as £13.5k before it disappeared, now it's reappeared with what looks like a different dealer.

This may no longer be for sale but the ad is still live on Facebook and seller confirmed it was still available in late June ...

D3 BiTurbo #444 Manual was on the Facebook Alpina Buy & Sell Site with 55k at £11,750. Originally advertised in Mar'18.

Or if you don't need rear doors, how about E92 D3 BiTurbo #193 on 44k for £15k

That colour is better in the flesh than in pix. Saw that very car sat in sytner when new: lovely thing 8)

Not far from me. Happy to go look and offer feedback of the intense, nerdy kind if available and any interest.

Seller is on here as is history of this cars' 'updates'. Strangely quickly flipped.

Think this was in Ebbw Vale for the time you mention. At current asking, a bit stiff for a non lux. I know where this car is. Shame it's the far west end of the M4.

Red's a terrible colour to photograph, don't think i've ever seen an advert for a red car that didn't look too pink/orange or really dark. Agreed, Crimson Red is a nice shade.

Yes, #232 was around Ebbw Vale previously.

I took some (better) pix of the car for someone else who was interested, and actually bought a red one as a result!

I thought so: I almost went to look at this one as a 'reserve' if #127 hadn't been free 8)

Here we go with a new offer, Fraz: hidden under incorrect category on AT, #434 53k, Blue with full cream heated leather inc roundels, wood trim, auto but not lux, and C10 wheels ( need a tidy I think) @ £13280. Nice thing. Should be a deal at high £12k's. They've listed it as a B3, not a D3, so that's not helping their cause here....

Also tourer #220 recently traded from an owner on here. Note the car is striped, but the front splitter stripes are missing, and the logo is 'tired'. Easily remedied, though.

I’d discounted those two as they were outside Fraz’s sub-50k mileage wish list. If you want to up the mileage to say 70k there are quite a few other options and I don’t think he’s interested in a wagon.

Blue one is only just over 50k and an unusual and desirable spec. Plus they wear miles well so this is no issue to my eyes.

Feelings on tourings known, but this is at least a 'known' car'
