Aaaah, you've got THAT c2!!!!! I believe it was around when I bought my E30 325i sport using him as a broker in a deal. I looked at it: out of my range back then. Top guy. I sold it via him too and paid him in a lot of wine as he wouldn't take payment. I knew his address so bombarded him with bottles

He had a dolphin (same as my then runaround E30 320i) M635csi knocking around for an age: lovely from 5yds. Be worth a packet, now: £7k back then.

Think I was lucky; was a dry day in Blackpool when I 1st went up to look at the Sport!

I'm sure that's the one. Over a period of time he had a couple: there was a tourer auto too iirc which I think went over the Irish Sea, as much of his stuff did Inc my Sport when I sold it on. Was it really 2005? Good god!

yeah! He also sold on a Royal blue C2 2dr which was auto with a cream leather trim. It had cruise and aircon also, i wonder what happened to it?

He bought and sold alot of 325i sports in his brief time. When i bought my car his wife was rolling in an e34 m5 as a daily kids tram 8) He was a good guy and this is very rare for a trader!.............he knew actually knew what he was talking about with cars and wasn't full of shit like 99% of traders

He won my C2 on ebay for £2500 taxed and MOT'd  them the days! I can remember seeing it in ebay

Amazing value! Think I paid around £3300 for my sport and sold for nearer £6k after a lot of unmodding and improving: Andy took £200 from the seller, who was a bit, well, I can't say!

He was superb. Last saw him at Gaydon I think with a couple of his cars for sale.

His Mrs also drove a merc barge coupe for a while iirc. He sold that though with moon and back mileage and it was still immaculate. Hope he's doing well. Previous to Bentley I think he worked at tvr just down the road, and was always messing about with motors.

That's where we were living at the time. I don't remember Andy saying anything about it: he knew we were interested in similar stuff at the time before job changes took us out of both E30's and into modern boxes for a while. I'm sure he'd have seen that and had a laugh: I can remember some comments he made about it: he was honest to a fault, really.
